All of the meats in our butchery are sourced locally and are of the finest quality. We ensure that those same meats have not travelled too far and have been reared with the highest welfare standards.

Another feather to our hat is our Outside Catering Service: we offer beef, pork and lamb spit roast with the Holebrooks personal service.


Supplied predominantly by our own farm, we are able to offer native breed beef that has been reared on lush Dorset farmland and hung for a minimum of 21 days giving you a flavour and tenderness that is truly unsurpassed.  


Our lamb is supplied by Jonathan Kendell who's homestead farm is some 2 miles from the shop. Jonathan holds the same values as we do regarding the quality of his meat and you will find it hard to find a better Sunday joint!  


A variety of local farms supply us with all of our pork and as with our other meats we ensure the highest quality of pork for your shopping bag. Whatever your choice of cut, you can rest assured of a superb taste for any occasion.  


All of our free range chickens are bred in sustainable conditions with the welfare of the chickens being our highest priority. The same chickens are even recommended and featured by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall on his TV show.  


Holebrooks supply a variety of game. This depends on the season as we source all meat locally and fresh. Our spectacular Venison comes from Buckland Newton and all pheasents come from Dorset.
